Marcel Dalton is the Dalton Brothers’ Swiss uncle. He is not only honest, but a banker to boot. Having purchased a small bank in the US, he decides to hire his nephews to force them to make a honest living. Although he’s assisted by Lucky Luke, they have their work cut out for them. Especially since – as if the ingrained instincts of the four dumbest bandits in the West weren’t enough – there’s also the small matter of the competition: a very unscrupulous banker …
Batman got the Joker, Riddler and Penguin. Lucky Luke got...the Dalton Brothers. With this 72nd (!!) volume de Groot and Morris produce the usual bundle of vizual gags, jokes and much more,
To think that before Cinebook sent me volume,,,7(?) I did not really like Lucky Luke. I was cool as far as Asterix the Gaul went but I just could not get into Lucky Luke. For reviewing, however, I have to read everything sent in and I started warming to the character and here we are at a UK record breaking 72nd volume and, like that annoying little moth I am trying to catch and push out the window, the Daltons are back!
So if you want to buy a fun book (all the stories are self contained) for the kids or yourself then you can't go wrong with this one.
