Apparently, a tale of two women who try to escape the inevitability of their individual fates.

Vertige, is a famous and much adored actress.  However, on one occasion she narrowly escaped drowning in her pool after taking too many drugs. Vertige is hospitalized as an extreme emergency and the fight begins.
Adelia is a gifted young acrobat and star of a popular small circus who survives only thanks to her dream to be free but there are many problems, including the leader of the troupe Reginaldo.

The imagery and art style is helped along by the use of some very good colour work that sets the scene/tone.  I don’t know a thing about Mandel nor Georges but I’ll soon find out more. “Is it a chick book?” is what I know some of you are asking.  Well, it depends on what you are looking for –this has nice art and a good story.  If you want hunky men in pants…no. No. This one is not for you.
