PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

Publishers Censoring Any Criticism The Immortal Iron Fists #1 is All Over the Place

Okay, there is a LOT of crap being talked by SJWs and anti SJWs.   Both sides need to grow up but there is supposed to be a right to free speech, at least in Western countries.

It appears that comic companies have decided to silence any criticism by using copyright Strikes ~claiming the blogger or You Tuber is breaching copyright.  That is a black mark against your account.

Now as I pointed out recently, even though two posts criticized a certain publisher and comic company they contained praise and highlighted how good some of the titles were and so on. Bang! Two DMA copyright strikes. So...feck them.

However, it seems other comic bloggers and vloggers have had similar NOT from Marvel, certainly not DC who are winning more fans over, but from the company that hit me ...and I also hear Marvel may have hit two bloggers with copyright strikes.

I no longer care because Marvel has no interest for me now and ...I'll write it...I no longer have any interest in Image. Dark Horse....so so.

But you know when idiots are in charge and decide to try to silence you.  Stan Lee once said that there may well be people who hate comics or Marvel comics "but it's their right to free speech"

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to thUnited States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, ensuring that there is no prohibition on the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press...

Reviewers or critics even dumb ass ones, have that right. So the "high moral" comic companies are infringing rights because "We don't like what he said! nyah nyah nyah!"

End of my toe tipping into this.  When or if I am back it will be for fun comics and not negative news spinning.
