The Cold War: the golden age of American and Soviet spies, a time when everything was clear-cut and simple. We’re the good guys, they’re the bad guys. Nowadays, CIA operatives like Alpha often feel more like commercial envoys than secret agents. When bodies start to drop in Washington, though, a boring mission playing tourist guide to a Russian delegation suddenly becomes much more dangerous. An old bogeyman from the Cold War, long thought dead, has reappeared…
Well, the "Cold War" never really went away and there's an 'ex' KGB man in charge of the Russian Federation now. Keep that in mind and these books allways have that little extra "spark" in them!
As allways, the art is good and look at that colouring in the first page (below). If that is not "atmospheric" then I don't know what is. Top marks.
And the story? Annoyingly, as allways for a reviewer, excellent. Loved the dialogue in the last three panels of this book -"with wonder" indeed.
Come on, this is Olivier Cadic's Cinebook -and he's never delivered a bad book yet. Only four volumes in this series so far so easy to grab and start collecting because you start reading and you're hooked!
