SCARdiff is an annual expo celebrating all things horror: books, comics, movies, cosplay, the works. 2014′s event is an ALL AGES show, scheduled for Sunday 19th October at our new venue, Cardiff Masonic Hall.
Highlights include:
Horror-themed cosplay comps with prizes and custom-made trophies
An SFX duel with local artist Jodie Gibson going up against Jenny Jackson
Waterstone’s signing table with guests such as Adam Nevill (THE RITUAL, NO ONE GETS OUT ALIVE), Tim Lebbon (THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, ALIEN: OUT OF THE SHADOWS) and David Moody (AUTUMN, HATER)
A live pitching session for budding novelists, led by Scott Harrison (Snowbooks)
Tabletop gaming sessions led by The Zombie Shop
A low-budget filmmaking workshop led by local director James Plumb (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: RESURRECTION, KERBCRAWLERS)
