The First Spiderman Fan Film Ever By Donald Glut 1969

Hollywood -THIS is how its done! I really wonder how many dollars they spent? Oh, and PLEASE read the info on You Tube about Don Glut and his career/films!!

Oh, Stransky noted a credit for Mark Harmon in this -I believe he's Spider-man(?).  Yes, THE NCIS TV series Mark Harmon!

  1. I enjoyed that a lot Terry, thanks for posting it. With my right hand doing an impersonation of a red hot balloon right now, I'm not doing a lot of comics stuff, so this was a real tonic - a flavour of the old 13 part serials like Flash Gordon, Batman or Captain America. A bit deficient here and there in the story line ( ie. Dr. Lightning terrible world threatening power on being explained or even hinted at ) but - overall - just wonderful. I loved the climbing Spiderman doll and the swinging Spiderman doll ! Priceless. Cheers for putting a smile on my face. Take it easy.

  2. I thought you might enjoy this early Hollywood blockbuster. Swinging and climbing "toy" spiderman?? Where?? That was stuntman Rip Arss Jnr III!

  3. Rip Arss Jnr.... hmm... Wasn't he the younger brother of Rip Torn ? The chief of Men In Black 1 and 2 ?
No ? Just checking... I may be wrong here - sue me - but I saw a Harmon credit in the Glut Spiderman
credits... 1969 ? The Mark Harmon ( I think that was the name ) Spiderman TV show hadn't started yet !
Wow. Maybe time travel IS possible... I'm tired. Off to sleep. Bye.

  4. According to Comic Book Collectors Club (online)....YES. It is THE Mark Harmon!!!!!! Hey, we all gotta start somewhere. I did some pretty gritty porn films when I was younger...turned out there was no film in the camera. And, yes, Rip Torns younger brother. :-P
