PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

Not A Very Productive Day

With all things getting in the way I only managed two rough pages today.  Here you go.

  1. Nice pages. It's always good to see a little work getting done - I do like the tubby Elvis in the street and then the zombie Elvis fan(s) in the garden - I assume going to meet their ( fake ) GodElvis. I'm not sure what the story line is - haha.. am I ever ? - but it looks like fun. I hope you're feeling better ( and maybe able to get out in the fresh end of January air ) - as for myself, still ugh bound, but better than last month - one good thing - the internet has stopped dropping out - fingers crossed. I was posting comments and when I clicked 'publish' - swish ! gone. 'You must make a comment before you publish'. If that's changed, maybe you're Chinese viewers'll be coming back. Let's hope.Oh. And let's hope the Marvel Movie Universe of Disney ( MMUD ) doesn't set it's sights on Doctor Who ! Afterall, it did publish some 'Marvel Premier' issues pack in the 80's ( Art by Dave Gibbons ) - I mean they could really screw up the continuity and story values, and the character of the Doctor and his relationship with his companions .....and...oh....um....ah... never mind.....
See you in the funny pages.

  2. hmmm. Not Zombies as such. They are dead and, yes, they will add many more to their ranks but NOT zombies -they had their day in the 1980s and just won't, uh, die away. Its the beginning of "the terror" and the Clone Zone Boys" Marvel, like DC DO NOT recognise continuity. I heard them from both sides say it.

  3. Yeah, well...continuity...who needs it ? Pfah. Overrated. I mean, today it's Tuesday, tomorrow it's Friday, and then it's last Wednesday, right ? Today I'm a teacher, tomorrow I'll be a doctor and then I'll be a pixie in Ireland. I'm sure the doctor's patients won't mind....and the pixie's'll be downright overjoyed.... continuity ? Ha. Completely unnecessary. ps. thanks for the tour of your 'palace'. The cat's teeth hanging on the wall in medical containers... are you related to Stephen King ?.... just wondering...
