Well, the posting about the 1st Birmingham Comic Festival has knocked everyone out of the way and is currently CBOs top posting.
If only that guaranteed more people going to the event!
Anyway, the newsagent across the road from me only has the odd Lottery note in the window and the man was looking at a small colour poster. He was contemplating putting it in the window but was "hmming" and "ahhing" so I said it looked good and might pull some money in. The money idea did it. So his shop now has a single 2000 AD poster in the window.
In case you wonder "Why?" all of a sudden...
It’s the IDEAL issue for new and lapsed readers with FIVE new stories, inc. Judge Dredd, Slaine and Strontium Dog, and some recent favourites return, too!
Created by some of the biggest talents, now & future, not just in the UK, but in world comics, inc.: Pat Mills, John Wagner, Carlos Ezquerra, Dan Abnett, Henry Flint & Karl Richardson
With this colossal cover, especially illustrated by former art droid, universally admired for his fabulous fronts.., Brian Bolland - what more incentive do you need?
