Yes! A property Disney (uh, Marvel) can...no. Let's not pretend. Disney finally has a character it can exploit more to their audience. Moon boy was not good enough -Moon Boy was the character associated with Devil Dinosaur in case you didn't know- so, as with all these things why not? Change the character's sex.
A cute little princess but probably sassy with it -for that "street cred" they need.
Yes, "Inhuman" is the thing to be. No more "latent mutant genes".

Wasn't the old 1950's EC character Moon Girl recently revived by one of the independents? That being the case, would there be copyright issues over Marvel's use of the name?
ReplyDeleteEC Moon Girl was 1947. Timely never had a MoonGirl BUT if the Indie Company was canny they COULD take legal action to stop Disney (or get a big pay off).
