PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

Perhaps More Later But For Now Google+

I just went on Google+ for the first time in a week.  Views stand at just under 2 million.  What surprised me was the fact that the only comic related posts on there were from....me.

Normally, the site was chocked full of comic book or comic book related movie news and I'd wade through them all. As I pointed out a week or two ago, things had gotten quiet.  But this!

People on comic forums are talking about the lack of activity, too.

Meanwhile, Star Wars and even Jurassic Park are big topics.  Interesting to see how figures go for the next super hero movie.

  1. Hmmm. Interesting. Fads are fads and they all come to an end... but this abruptly ? Hmm. Give it a week. Maybe it's just some end of summer thing and people are all bummed out over he FFour movie. Though I think we might all have been over saturated with 'infomation' - and are just waiting for the next 'big' thing. Anyway. Yeah. Back to the salt mines. I'll talk to you a bit more tomorrow - busy today and blinding headache. Lovely Japanese summer weather. 34 degrees C and humid. Better than last week though.

  2. Fads can only go so long before burning out. The same lack of comic video review updates is also noticeable on You Tube. You NEED a hobby. Ever tried deportation? You used to get allergies bad enough in the UK so how you survived Japan this long mystifies me. Just take it easy!

  3. Deportation - yeah. Flirted with that once but, y'know, it's one of those things, once you get deported the thrill kind of goes away.....

  4. Well, you then try to get deported from the country you got deported to...unless its Japan!
