One of my most treasured possessions is the catalogue which was published by Fondation Cartier Pour L'Art Contemporain for Moebius' last exhibitions which was at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. A dear friend, sadly since departed, obtained it for me at the time via a book search. When the French didn't want to give up a copy, he tracked one down in Italy. The catalogue is a brilliant record of Jean 'Moebius' Giraud, an inspirational free spirit of a blend of sequential art and Surrealism, who sadly passed away in 2012.
