After all his adventures across the American continent, after defeating his many enemies, XIII is trying to live a simple life in the house he inherited, where it all started. It’s not always easy – not everyone is happy to have such an infamous man in the area, and his skills are in high demand with some people of varying integrity. His memories are still locked away, too, and some people want to keep it that way…

Well, I had thought that The Last Round was the final in the saga of XIII.  I was wrong.  Cunning spy stuff.

Van Hamme is not the writer here -though he does lend an assist.  But how does it all pan out?  Well, the story is okay. Ad, again, that famous last page "!?" Yes, old XIII is not out of the woods yet and things ain't looking that good for his pals!!

As to the artwork.  If I could post it I would write "******* incredible!" I just love these artists and, again, I have to give a very big mention to the incredible colour work of Brengere Marquebreucq which lifts the book from great to tremendous art-wise.

So, if it keeps up like this then, yes, it looks like it will be a good run.  Not Van Hamme or Vance but great successors to the legacy of XIII!
