Well, I did say Capaldi was the new Dr Who before it was announced and got a few jibes because "everyone knows" the role was going to another actor.
For a week or so the blog sphere (is it REALLY a "spheroid"?) has been full of, quote: "It's looking more l;ikely there will be a female Dr Who very soon" and I responded. No. The VERY strong rumour from BBC sources was that Capaldi had committed to two new series because he was really having fun and developing the character.
No. I'm wrong, apparently.
