I've had a few "feelers" ut and just got the last of the replies in.
One of the biggest cosmopolitan cities in the UK with a huge comic fan base will not be getting a comic event this year. And, if what I am told is correct....absolutely no one wants to get involved in organising one for 2016.
This is why other countries, particularly in Europe, see the UK comic scene as a joke.
No industry. Events that charge exhibitors far too much for a table. Welcome to Comics In The UK!
This is just VERY depressing. If you want to draw or publish comics move to the USA or Europe.
