We all know that Lucky Luke has a busy life. When it’s not Washington calling upon him for some national project, it’s the local penitentiary asking him to recapture the Daltons. But not every moment is spent in such grand adventures.

Here is a collection of smaller stories depicting the everyday life of our cowboy, from taking a child to the dentist to helping passing settlers – and even attending a classical concert in Houston! What a full life he leads!

Okay, I did actually wonder when I saw the first Lucky Luke volume whether it would last.  I had faith in Olivier Cadic and his plan but there is always that little voice wondering whether Lucky Luke would be and stay popular.  And here we are with the Big 5-0!  Fifty volumes which is unprecedented as I think the most ever published in the English language has been five?

Never liked LL before but I've grown fond of the old cow-poke (NO jokes!).  I DO laugh loudly at all those critics who, before the first books even appeared, predicted "European comic albums will NOT sell in the UK.  People are just not interested!"  To those people I say.....

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Lovely fun for all ages and here is to volume 100!!!
