PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.
Thank You

It's ALWAYS Sunny In Bristol. We Don't Have Drive-by Shootings And The People Are Friendly.

Okay, okay, okay. It is NOT always sunny but when it is Bristol is the best place to be -and when its wet there's plenty to do indoors.

Is Bristol Tourism paying for this???

Anyhow, October 4th sees the AniMangaPop! event on one side of the Broadmead (shopping) area of the city and the Bristol Comics and Zine Fair bang smack in the middle of town.  And there is another event in November!

So, just cus they've been gathering computer dust, here are a few of my Bristol reference photos.  Come see the city and street art at the same time!

Below: the Bristol Exploratory area which also has a huge TV screen so it'll keep you amused! All photos (excepting 1 and 2 above) are (c)2014 T. Hooper-Scharf

Below: Park Street looking up toward Bristol University and City Museum and Art Gallery.
Above:Bottom of Park Street heading into the City Centre.  Below -the City Centre!

Below: St Peter's Church ruin was left in place as a memorial to those who died during the Bristol Blitz of World War 2 and has a nice garden area around it.
