I keep getting this feeling that people think I must be raking in money. Let's not go into why as I am trying to be mellow.
Let me explain how this all works.
Since 2009 I have had an online store crammed with lots of great books covering all genres. "You have GOT to get an online store -it's the future!" people kept saying. I've had more headaches since setting one up than I ever had the previous couple decades.
But, take Return Of The Gods: Twilight Of The Super Heroes. Big book. £20.00. My cut from a sale? £9.00 -now if it was selling well I'd be happy (and not having a can of soup for tea!).
No sales -even though it got rave reviews. So, I made a revision of five books so that they get distribution through Barnes & Noble, Amazon, etc.. My cut from a sale? £1.82 which means that for all the work and effort I am going to be giving the book away while big companies make a huge profit.
Why? Because I need to explore any and every market because, here I go, there is absolutely no support from events or the 'comics community' in the UK. I need to eat like everyone else. You know what? Unless thousands start buying from Amazon I hope none sell because I'll see those companies make the money I should be getting for doing nothing!
Return was hailed by one person as "The greatest British super hero graphic novel ever!" So it goes to show how much attention blog viewers pay!

Following the events on Neo
Olympus and the Boarman invasion of Earth, many heroes and
crime-fighters have withdrawn from activity.
Some are trying to recover
from injuries while others are fighting the mental scars left by the
events.
As heroes from other parallels who helped during the events return home,
members of the Special Globe Guard are shocked at the sudden appearance
of Zom of the Zodiac.
Very soon, a group of heroes find a quick rescue mission turn sour as
they become lost between parallel Earths and threats.
Sometimes one Earth just is not enough.
The complete story published in issues 7-10 of Black Tower Adventure now
in...one handy dandy book!
