I heard back from Mike Allwood who organises great one-day comic events about the possibility of him organising something in Bristol: "not again!"
Which seems pretty much "no", doesn't it. A major city lie Bristol has NO comic marts/one day events or a convention. I'd like to 'thank' the organisers who took over from Mike and killed a great event in just one year.
So, unless you want to visit one in Cardiff Mike is thinking of organising or the one in Birmingham you are out of luck.
We started organising comic marts (one day events) in the 1980s-early 1990s. Then came the Expo but after three decades nothing.
Comics and fandom in this country have really gone down the toilet.
