PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.

Apparently, Sex Sells...

Another item from Comicecke -sadly, CBO never gets German comics to review! https://www.comicecke.de/2020/08/13/sex-sells-zwei-comics/

The two comics couldn't be more unusual. One is intellectually appealing science fiction, the other is funny. Both revolve around one topic: sex.

There is more fascinating science fiction with DIE PERINEUM-TECHNIK (20, - Euro), in which JH and Sarah get to know each other via a dating app and have virtual sex. But non-binding fun becomes an obsession for JH. He wants to meet Sarah in real life, but she is reluctant to give him what he wants. The comic, which is erotic without being clumsy or explicit, brings up the very difficult issues, deals with sex positivity, moral permissiveness, but also sexual excess - always through the prism of a world in which there is practically always non-binding sex.

But you can also approach sex in a funny way, like the Swiss artist Zep with his band HAPPY SEX: CUMMING AGAIN (19.95 euros), who with caricaturing lines and ample powers of observation has put little piggies on paper that make them laugh above all because of that stimulate because the situations appear more than once as if they were taken from real life.

  1. Well, it's how we are here. Amazing, really, that some have such 'difficulties' with the concept after the so-many-millions of years that sex has been around! Trains into tunnels. Oh dear! Mother, mother, I feel sick. Send for the doctor, quick, quick, quick. Mother, dear, shall I die? Yes, my darling, by and by. One, two, three, four . . !
