Kid Luck, still travelling with Old Timer, arrives in Mushroom City. After months in the wild, they’re both glad to find a place where they can have some fun!
While the old gold miner has every intention to enjoy himself, though, he immediately sends Luke … straight to school! A horrible sentence for the young cowboy-in-the-making, who is about to meet a quartet of already nasty little brats, and a pistolero with somewhat … flexible morals!
"Still travelling with Old Timer"? There's been a Kid Luke story before? Seriously, I am going to have to check the volumes again because my brain is so mushy I cannot remember Kid Luke and Old Timer (but with the number of books I read and my creaking shelves...).
Hmm. "a quartet of already nasty little brats"? A quartet...brats? Justtryingto think if there is any significance in that? Lemme see (as opposed to Lemmy Caution)...oh. Never? The Daltons?! At school?? You know what's coming next....no wonder the US education system is in a mess! (you did guess, right?).
I actually like Kid Luke though I was wondering whether it would workwhen I first saw the book.
Well, at least we can see that it wasn't a bad upbringing that made the Daltons go bad. They were probably bad when it came to potty training to!
Recommended? D'uh!!!
